But I love this masterpiece of a a photo it so I'm sharing it anyway because it seems appropriate for today. My youngest daughter and I share a love of theatre and the dramatic. Except for the day to day type of drama, forget that! We are the first to dress up in a costume for any occasion where we can get away with it. I think about possibilities for Halloween costumes all year long and keep and list so I don't have to come up with ideas when October rolls around.
So here is today's picture that makes me smile. I'm naming it The Pirate Mouseketeer.
My youngest loves all thing piratey and today she's leaving on her dream trip - DisneyWorld. It's her high school choir trip and I'm so excited for her. It feels a little strange that I didn't book a single thing, hand her any tickets OR help her pack. I guess that's what happens when your kids grow up. But I'm always the travel agent for our family so it just feels weird. My job in this case was to fork over a heckuvalotta money. I hope she has an absolutely awesome trip!
