Three years living full time in a motorhome!

This week we marked the 3 year anniversary of moving into BB, the land yacht, and living the full time RV life. It’s been an adventure for sure! At times it hasn’t been what we expected and sometimes it’s far exceeded our expectations.

I thought when I retired and started traveling that I would write about our travels on this blog and I really dropped the ball and have been incredibly lazy about sharing this amazing adventure. I am planning to change going forward and post about some of the beautiful places we have visited, our RV life and the campgrounds and various places we have parked and made home for a night or a month in the past few years as well as share our travels going forward.

I thought we would be closer to the end of this lifestyle by now, but unforeseen circumstances have changed our ‘very loose’ plans. So currently, we think we will be living this way for a while longer and that's okay because we still love seeing new places and visiting people across the country.

We’ve traveled about 25,000 miles in the RV and an additional 38,000 in the Jeep.

We have visited 31 states.

We seen the smiling faces of around 120 friends and family members, many of whom we had not seen for years, some it had been decades!

We’ve seen countless beautiful places that left us even more in awe of God’s creation.

We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve made mistakes, we’ve learned, we’ve sacrificed, we’ve been very blessed and best of all we’ve been together every mile.

Living in a small space for years is not something I would recommend for everyone, but it has given us the opportunity to travel and reconnect with people we love....

and I would recommend that for everyone.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving. I hope you get to spend the holiday with family and friends, whether that 'family' was chosen for you or you picked them yourself!

Much Love & Laughter,
Laura
