Choosing A Vacation Spot

SuperDave and I love to travel.  We love to visit new places, places we've already visited, we love to visit family and friends. We like a road trip, flying, sailing away on a ship.  We like adventure.

We can't afford a big vacation every year so we choose carefully.  This year we purchased a car for our baby girl and sent her on a choir trip to DisneyWorld so our vacation budget is pretty small.

Our original play was a staycation this year.

Then we started thinking maybe we'd visit Las Vegas.  We've never been there.

Then we thought maybe we would go on a cruise in the Caribbean.

Or a few days sitting on the beach would be heaven.

I even contemplated flying to California, visiting relatives and making some trips from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe and San Francisco.  The wine country?

Anyway you calculate it leaving the house is EXPENSIVE!  One of my friends says every time you leave the house it's $100 and 100 miles!

Now I'm thinking we should find out what college expenses will be before booking a trip (BOO!)
We need a budget vacation.

Any suggestions?
Much Love & Laughter,

Laura
