I don't feel I've done anything productive lately at home. (except Halloween costumes, I'll show you next week, after the Halloween party, I promise). I could show you all the stuff I intended to do but haven't gotten done, but that would not be very interesting at all.
Last year I was SO inspired and I think my baby girl and I did a super job of decorating for Halloween. I absolutely LOVED it! PLEASE check it out here if you missed it last year (or if like me you can't remember a year ago).
But this year I've been unmotivated, uninspired, unenergetic (all of the above),whatever you want to call it. I managed to get some fall decorations out and they look nice. And recently I added a few Halloween items to the fall decor - but haven't taken photos. Honestly, I'm not sure where I stored some of the Halloween decorations from last year and I haven't had a strong urge to look for them. Is anyone else feeling like this? Or is it just me?
The table in the entry way. I love these owls very very much. (smile) |
The breakfast table, dressed for fall...keeping it simple |
Our built in china in the breakfast room, again nothing fancy |
My kitchen window sporting some pie pumpkins and gourds and a little fall angel. I think I've enjoyed this most of all this year (maybe because I'm in the kitchen a LOT when I'm home) |
A little dining room table centerpiece. I confess we haven't eaten many meals there this fall. Love the battery powered candles with timers. (more on that later) |
The coffee table in the "reading" living room with a little old and a little new decor. We've already had a weekend morning cool enough to have coffee by the fire in there! |
The mantle looking lovely. My painting actually works with the gold and orange! |
So that's what I've been not doing. Maybe I'll get my mojo back shortly and post on a regular basis!
Much love and laughter,
Laura

So, it's not just me, huh? Lol! I have done all of the fall decorating that I am going to do. This way, there is less to put away before Christmas...lol! But, for someone who is unmotivated, you have done a great job of adding fall decor to your home! Everything is beautifully festive!
Love all your fall decor. Thanx for sharing at THT.
