I Need A Nap

If you are on pins and needles waiting for the reveal of our master bedroom and family room with the new wood floors, please be patient while you wait a little while longer.  We are back in both rooms as far as furniture is concerned, but we still have a little way to go before we're ready for a reveal.

We still need to do the following:

Put all the decorative items back in the family room.

Put all the decorative items back in the bedroom including all the stuff that was on the walls. (since we painted that room, everything was moved out)

Move two desks and two computers back to the master bedroom (I'd like to put mine somewhere else, but where? Plus what would I put in the empty corner where I keep my desk?)

Paint the lingerie chest. (the room just isn't going to be finished as long as it's yellowish white)

When I write it down, it looks like a short list. A days work, two at the most. BUT there are some complications.

First, we work Monday to Friday. Who wants to think, or move for that matter, after being at work all day?

Second, my sweet SuperDave strained his back this weekend. I'm hoping his pain subsides very soon.

Third, I'm exhausted.  I don't even want to think about where I'm going to put stuff on the bedroom walls or about moving one more thing back to where it belongs.  I don't know why I'm so tired. I'm sleeping well, but I honestly just want to crawl in bed under a snugly quilt and take a 3 hour nap. And I don't nap - ever - unless I'm sick.  Normally if I lie down during the day, I just start thinking of a dozen things I need to do and then I get up and start doing them.

I'm hoping when the work week is over and I get a little bit of a late sleep Saturday morning that I'll be up for some more work on this project.

But until then we'll sit in the family room after work admiring the beautiful floor, looking at the empty shelves and catching up on some shows that recorded on the DVR while we were working the last few weeks.

And I'll tell myself we deserve a break!  Because we do.

Oh go ahead! You deserve a break.
Besides... while your resting. You might come up with new ways to arrange your walls or something totally unexpected...How fun would that be?!
