Another Pinteresting Meal

Sometimes I actually cook the recipes that I add to my boards on Pinterest instead of just pinning them.  I made 3 recipes for one meal recently and all were delish!  I substituted what I had on hand (including the BBQ sauce) and added additional herbs and spices and it all came out wonderful.  I will make ALL THREE of these again and am looking forward to it.  How can you get a better recommendation than that?

These were fast and easy and GONE before I even thought about taking a photo - although we did have some chicken left for another meal.  If you are looking for a quick easy meal for the weekend, try them out.  We work ourselves to the point of collapse on most Saturdays so by the end of the day we need a quick easy satisfying meal and this certainly met those requirements.

At 5 pm today I start a 3 day weekend because Monday is a holiday from work at the office for me. OH GOODY I have an extra day to work at home! Break out the anti-imflammatory drugs!

When the carpet is gone from my bedroom I plan to paint the walls.  I'm going to be moaning and groaning by Tuesday!  Also, a little yard work on the agenda (more sore muscles).   But tonight I have a date to go OUT for a movie - we almost never do that.  I'm kinda excited.

TGIF!

Isn't it great when you find great recipes? I love looking around and trying different recipes. In fact tomorrow night, I am cooking Yvonne's recipe from Stonegableblog.
It's Braised short ribs and boy is it yummy! It cooks in a crockpot all day. Enjoy your week-end. Linda

P.S. Ignore the deleted comment message above. It was me....I was logged into Liz' account, working on her blog and I forgot....silly me
