We had a large number of people in attendance for several reasons
1) my parents have lived in the same house for 48 YEARS
2) our family is rather LARGE
3) they have attended the same church FOREVER
4) they are pretty likable and SWEET
The above mentioned church where I attended all my life, until I got married (in that church) and moved away, has a tall set of stairs in the front. They are not quite as tall as they seemed when I was 3, but they seem to get a little taller every time I go home lately.
We put all the people who are actually related to my parents that attended their 50th anniversary on the steps and took a photo. I considered calling this one Family Portrait, but I've decided instead to call it ROOTS.

Apart from the treasure of the faith, I really don't think there is anything as valuable as the treasure of good roots and a close family. It can make all the difference in this world. You are blessed.
And I just saw the previous post. I had prepared myself to see the lizard based on the title, but oh lawdy would I be scared to see that unawares. I get the heebie jeebies with anything like that.
