When my oldest two kids were young we'd pull them from school for a day or two and take a road trip to Colorado for skiing during January or February. As they got older and refused to miss school (really, they said it was too hard to catch up on assignments) we couldn't do that anymore.
So one year we took a big spring break vacation and headed for Copper Mountain, Colorado. We had an amazing vacation. March afternoons were warm in the Rockies that week, so the snow conditions were not optimal. Icy in the morning and slushy in the afternoon. But we still had an incredible time.
Rule #1 of traveling - Have a good time no matter what happens, it's all about the Adventure!

I hope you are springing forward this morning,
for me it's more like being dragged forward moaning and groaning.
Do you take a spring break vacation? What's the most memorable one ever?

That is the best description of springing forward I've ever heard, and exactly what I feel like today. I think my favorite spring break ever was the one we just took to California, which I'm overdue to write about! -kate
Thanks Kate, I'm sure it will get better as time goes by, hopefully a little while before we change the clocks again!
