A Little Self Indulgence

Occasionally I pamper myself a little lot.  Warm spring days bring my favorite season of the year - sandal season!  My toes need to breathe and are so tired of being shoved into socks and boots.  It's time to scrub the dead skin off your heals and get a snazzy new coat of paint on your toenails.  Right, girls?  A pedicure always makes me pampered and refreshed. Hopefully I don't trip because I'm admiring my new paint job instead of watching where I'm going.

I rarely head out for a pedicure alone because my baby girl is always right on my heels if I'm headed somewhere to be pampered.

We like to get the DELUXE pedicure which includes, massage, sea salt scrub, hot towel wrap, hot stone massage, lotion, oil, more massage and of course scrubbing off the dead skin, trimming and a coat of fresh paint in your color of choice on your tooties.  Also, the chair massages your back for the entire 90 minutes so you leave there feeling PRETTY GOOD.

Add to that snazzy paint job an awesome pair of sandals
 and you are feeling FINE!

AND

Speaking of an awesome pair of sandals,
these sweet thangs, by Marc Jacobs,
are so comfy I have them in 3 colors.

Pretty toes, pretty sandals, I love spring time!

Does anyone else share my feelings for sandal season?

Live, Love, Laugh,

Laura

I love sandal season...I love sandals. Unfortunately, I hate my feet. I have Barney Rubble feet and no matter how good the pedicurist, they are still Barney Rubble feet. :(

Thanks, Mal - The Chic Geek - I LOVE the name of your blog! I'm going to pop right over and read your latest post. I'm digging this color too and I SO meant to read the name of the color off the bottle before I left the salon and of course, I forgot. :(

Amy, Amy, Amy, I am not crazy about the way my feet look either, but my Mama always said if they get you where you need to go, be thankful. You know 20 years ago there were SO many things about my physical appearance I would have changed if I could have, but at fortysomething I find those things are just not so important anymore. Get yourself a fun paint job and just celebrate those toes!
